(Psa 2:1-3) "Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? {2} The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, {3} Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us."

While, due to man's rebellion, we are all born with a certain proclivity to sin in various ways, we cannot justify acting them out. And God gives to all grace to resist a sin (unless we continually yield to a sin).

God's laws, like the good things He gives us, are to our benefit, but it is to our individual and collective hurt when we break His good laws and misuse His good gifts. And this has been and is the legacy of countries where widespread sanction of homosexual relations (as well as other grievous sins) is manifest.

Nor is the response of calling those who oppose homosexual relations "homophobic" valid, as those like myself actually are not driven by fear of homosexuals or of being one, but rather we seek to help those involved in such sin to find redemption in Christ by being genuinely born again, as some of the first Christians were former homosexuals.

(1 Cor 6:11) "And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God."
