Rozzi P.O. - Lack o' Delivery?

My folks live in Roslindale, and they did not get any mail delivery on 12/11 & 12/12/08 - never happened before. Anybody have any inside info about anything weird going on at the Roslindale branch Post Office? E.G., people out sick? AND, last month I mailed a letter to Roslindale, and it STILL has not arrived...

Maybe their daughter needs to write them more? :-).
In any case, we got plenty of mail on both days - like a gazillion clothes catalogs - here in our remote section of Rozzie hard by the Hyde Park frontier.

Hey, Adammmmmmmm,
I only live 4 minutes by car from the folks' place, so they prefer to see me in the flesh rather than have me send a card, so they can monitor my tats & tracks.....and make sure I'm eating some veggies.
They HAVE been getting their regular mail after that little burp in service, so I am calling off the war!

I had a problem with a guy delivering packages during the holiday period last year. He rang all the doorbells of all the units, and when I came out and stuck my head out the window (wrapped in a towel and clearly sopping wet), he got really nasty and demanded to be let into the building. Uh, no...
A quick call to the USPS's 800 number, and not only did I get a call a couple days later saying they'd spoken to the dude, but I got a survey card a week or two after that asking if things had been addressed to my satisfaction.
