Boston reporter among those let go by the Times today

Sara Rimer, who chronicled Boston's monied class and intelligentsia for the Times, was laid off today, along with a couple dozen other Times writers.

Anybody who lives here actually ever heard of this woman, or knew that the NYT
"chronicled Boston's monied class"?
It's not remarkable to me that they're firing her. It's remarkable that they had her in that
role in t he first place.
