(Commuter) trains kept a-rollin'

This morning I watched two scheduled trains blow past me at the Hyde Park station; one from Stoughton, and one from Providence. I re-checked the schedule - yup, they were supposed to stop. So how often does this happen? I needed to walk from Back Bay station to Beacon Hill and back to do some business, and this was the perfect day to do it.

The 7:52 Weds morning was on time, and stopped in HP. When was yours? Perhaps I've seen you on the platform...

My guess is that these were late trains which were not scheduled to stop, but happened to coincide with trains that were. That happens fairly often :(
