Funny how this is newsworthy, when a politician lives amongst the plebeians. Didn't Michael Dukakis take the T every single day?
Yes, he did
And God love Michael Dukakis!
It's noteworthy because you don't tend to think of well-off lawyer/MBA types from Belmont or Milton riding the T.
Poseurs
They are just poseurs compared to Dukakis. Not only does he ride the T, he picks up trash and throws it away.
