District C-11 reports the cars are being stolen in the areas of Pleasant Street, Columbia Road and Savin Hill. Police say that with the cold weather, people should remember not to leave their cars unattended as they warm up: "Better a cold car than a stolen car."

My Honda was stolen about 1 1/2 years ago and my boyfriend's Honda was stolen about 6 months ago. Mine was in Brighton next to BC, his was parked outside his house in JP. After much research I was hoping to get a VW in a couple of months, but now THEY are getting stolen? You can't win. I hope stealing subway passes is not in vogue or else I'm screwed.
My neighbor said she bought a Dodge Neon after her Honda was stolen only because, as she said, "No one wants a Dodge Neon."
Obviously I'm terrified to own another Honda. Besides a minivan or station wagon what kind of car can one own in this town without worrying about it getting stolen? Do those Clubs for the steering wheels actually work?
