House of Blues was booked that weekend?
The Dave Matthews Band had previously been announced for a concert at Fenway Park on Saturday, May 30. Surprising that they and Phish would be scheduled back-to-back like that, but the neighborhood's gonna be rocking, for sure.
HoB hasn't yet announced their schedule for that weekend, btw.

Anybody know if you can hear the music on the street outside?
You can hear it further than that
You can usually hear the music all the way to Amory Park (at minimum).

Good thing it's an open-air venue.

Given the transformation the field has to go through, I'd imagine whoever's playing a concert there needs to do it all at one time during a lull in the ball schedule.
