Prudential Center Lights

Did anyone else notice the Prudential Center Tower lights were turned off last night? I was on Boylston Street around 11 last night, and noticed the lights had been turned off. Don't know what that's about. I hope its not a budget issue.

They turn off every night
just after 11, a few minutes after all but the colored lights go dark on the old John Hancock building's weather beacon.

It's part of lights out boston and will last through Memorial Day
Lights Out Boston?
Pilot program last fall. There was a comment in the news story that tall buildings would be pushed towards continuing the program year-round. Perhaps this was just an extension of that?

you guys should see the pru now, the lights have been flashing all kinds of crazy colors and strobing them its actually really fun then its just stopping on a red and green theme. its strange.
