Two-alarm fire in East Boston triple decker

Boston firefighters battled a two-alarm fire at 18 Chelsea St. and the neighboring triple decker this afternoon. The fire was reported knocked down shortly before 5 p.m. The Boston Fire Department estimates damage at $150,000 to the unoccupied building, which neighbors say has had issues with squatters.

..this appeared to be a large fire and the BFD did a great job containing the blaze and keeping it from spreading to adjacent properties.
