WGBH Twitter hacked

The Twitter account for WGBH's "Greater Boston" (@GreaterBoston) has been hacked. Either that, or PBS is finally offering some good loot when you donate money during commercial breaks.

The account's password was "greaterboston," which is basically equivalent to having no password at all. Thus it was easily hacked.

I picked a new temporary password and emailed it to the accountholder.

The "good loot" was:

"grilled or fried KFC chicken? $100 just if you vote. i can't wait for the gift checks!"

"get in touch with hot horny bitches locally!"

"amazing local ladies tonight - get them now!"

"are you looking to get laid tonight? meet local singles now!"

"what is your favorite item at Taco Bell? I just got a $100 gift card for voting. more food - yummy!"

etc...
