Where are the all night Dunkin' Donuts?

I'm slowly building a database and maps of 24-hour businesses in the Boston area. I'm sadly lacking in the Dunk's department, though, so would be grateful for locations of them, either here or via that last link.

One note on the first link: One of the things I need to figure out is why that page is so slow and what to do about it. For some reason, the page insists on loading the ads first before loading the Google map, which, as you'll see if you click, is annoying.

Thanks!

Porter Square - DD is NOT 24 hours (correction)

In Porter Square. you can find a 24-hour Dunkin Donuts, Shaw's supermarket, CVS, and Gourmet Express (a former White Hen convenience store that serves meals 24/7).

Correction: apparently it is no longer a 24-hour DD. I walked by it this evening and the posted hours are now 5 am to midmight.

Almost positive

I'm almost positive that the one at N Brighton and Market St in Brighton is 24 hours.

It's the one that used to have the cool neon sign...and now has the crappy Anime coffee cup mini-shingle instead.

D'oh

I just noticed that you already had it on there.

North Beacon Street...

That would be the corner of North Beacon Street and Market Street. Brighton Avenue changes name going west when it crosses Cambridge Street...

just over the neponset bridge

just over the neponset bridge on hancock st in north quincy

at the corner of 3rd st and mcgrath highway in east cambridge

If I recall correctly, on

If I recall correctly, on OBrien highway, past lechmere, there's a 24 hour DD and a 24 hour mcdonalds (drive thru only)

Back Bay / South End

The Dunkin on the corner of Mass Ave. and Haviland St. (By Berklee) is 24 hours (i think)

Wellington Circle CVS

24 hour CVS where Rt. 16 meets Rt. 28 just off of Wellington Circle.

DD store locator needs major improvement

I was hoping it would be possible to write a 'scraping' script to find out which DDs are open 24 hours -- but they don't have hours on their website at all. I can easily find 24-hour CVS stores on the web, why can't I do that for Dunkin Donuts?

The value in a 24 hour DD?

Since nearly all of the Dunkin Donut locations that I can think of don't make their donuts on location any more anyways, I'm not sure what the utility of a 24 hour DD is any more.

Stale donuts and hours old DD coffee just have zero appeal to me.

You could also include

24-hour hospitals and hotels.

Oh, and the color for "bowling" and "convenience store" are so close to one another that I first glanced at the map and was like "what? There are several dozen 24-hour bowling places in Boston?"

While you're at it, why not make a separate listing for Dunkies? The bloorp could be orange and magenta.

24-hour hotels?

Is there a hotel that isn't 24 hours? Isn't the whole point of a hotel that you have somewhere to be overnight?

I've booked a room at a hotel

I've booked a room at a hotel and showed up at 3 am and been locked out from checking in. It isn't pleasant. Usually the front desk eventually notices you though.

I actually tried a purple and orange pushpin!

Alas, at that size, it wasn't really recognizable. On the category maps, would make sense to have larger pushpins, but that might look really bad on the main map (the software doesn't let you have two types of pushpins for the same thing, alas). First, though, I need to fix the main page in general.

Will play with the colors. I'm not really colorblind, even if that map makes it appear I am.

dd/ 24hr food/restaurant...

correct about porter - was 24 hrs for years but changed about year ago i walked there from
e. somerville to find it closed!!!!

owner said not much business in the wee hours and tired of fri sat nite clubbers drunk
realizing the blew all thier cash... and sick and tired of homeless sleeping there... until
one homeless guy died in his sleep at the table.... that did it for him!!!!

other places - not much...... ihop in brighton, new yorker diner in watertown,, dd
in somerville union and magoun sq.... fresh pond in camb.... unless you want to go to nyd in wat. good food! get used to dd flatbread sandwich and egg mcmuffin - thats it!!!

itts too risky - robberies - clerks shot to death making 9 bucks an hour.. and homeless
setting up camp and drunks pissing themselves... its just not worth it..

Magoun Square

The DD on Broadway @ Medford Ave (in Magoun Square) is 24 hours.

24 Hours

There is a 24 hour Dunkin' Donuts in Andrew Sq., South Boston. There is no drive thru there. Also, there is a Doughboy Doughnuts at 220 Dorchester Av. (it's an independent store, an endangered species!) that is open around the clock and does have a drive thru. Decent products there and cheaper than DD.

DD at Boylston St and Park Drive.

But its one of those in a gas station w/convience store attached.

And the 7-11 on Park Drive/Buswell.

Your link crashes browsers

Have you tried having the google ads in an iframe separately from the page content? Are you using that hack gmap module for Drupal? I'd suggest making some custom mods, like loading items in an iframe, updating the js files, etc. The taxonomy theme stuff for Gmap is flaky...you'd think with something as omnipresent as Google Maps it would work better. Go Google! =P

Great thing about standards in open source, you can make up your own!

My apologies for that!

An iframe? Could work, thanks for the idea. I'm wondering if there's a conflict in the JavaScript that controls the map and controls the ad iframes or something. What's weird is I've actually been using gmap for awhile now on a few different sites, and never had an issue like this before. But, you know, on the other site where I've been using it the most extensively, the maps are served from one server and put on the other via, yep, iframes.

Stop script

Man, that web page doesn't seem to be working correctly. It hung for a while, and then I had to stop a script from running. The Google map doesn't work with dragging a hand to move it around (although clicking on the businesses does bring up their information). [Firefox 2.0, linux fedora, if you care]

Firefox 2.0 is really old

consider upgrading to 3.5.

Which page?

The main page or the coffee page?

I ask because, yeah, that main page needs some major work - as I mentioned, for some reason, the page insists on calling up all the ads before displaying the map, freezing the browser in the process until everything shows up (if I have to, I'll disable the ads on that page). If the coffee page, too, though, ugh, will look, as well.

I added some CVS stores yesterday

in Cambridge and Boston, but they are not showing up on your map.

I'm a slug

Thanks. They're in the database. I haven't changed their status to "published" yet.

The Dunkin Donuts/Gas

The Dunkin Donuts/Gas Station/Convenience Store at the corner of Park Drive and Boylston is 24 hours.

Dunks by the Garden

I think there's a 24 hour Dunks on Causeway Street across from the Garden.
