Another bicyclist hit by car in Newton

Wicked Local Newton reports a 13-year-old boy was crossing with the light at Waltham and Washington streets around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday when a car plowed through the intersection and hit him. He went to the hospital as a precaution; the driver fled after first checking on him.

Driver Charged But Not Identified

This story doesn't add up. Newest report says that the driver was charged but not identified. Police indicate that they would only identify him if he was arrested. WTF!! Original report has driver leaving scene. Isn't that hit and run! How did they find him? Why protect his identity
