Arrest made in fatal Allston stabbing

Julio Mariscal, 40, is due for arraignment this morning in Brighton District Court on a murder charge related to Saturday's stabbing death on Mansfield Street, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office says, adding the victim's name was Jose Mendoza Villalta. More details to come.

When I walked by there last
When I walked by there last night there were two cruisers sitting on either side of the corner, one was doing sweeps with its searchlight around the general area. This morning this ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/47771788@N05/4493990030/sizes/l/ ) was the scene, the whole building is surrounded by crime scene tape, including the doorways. There was still an occupied cruiser sitting in front of the house, blocked from view by that white pickup.
