What a monster. Was Logan upgraded to handle the passenger version? I don't remember seeing any gates with double jetways.

I wanted to hear what kind of noise that plane makes. And which airline does it belong to?

That's the manufacturer's livery. No airline has announced plans for scheduled service into Logan with the A380.

No airline will ever use one
No airline will ever use one of these to fly into Boston. It's too big for our market.
What does make sense, is that as the article pointed out, Logan can be used for planes diverted from JFK or Toronto, which may see service.
I doubt a comfortable gate needs to be available for emergencies though.

Ever fly to Europe in the summer? Also, people will do what they can to avoid JFK.
Remember, air travel isn't just about who lives here and where they want to go ... people connect from other places, particularly for foreign travel.
Boston is a Transatlantic Hub
Between BA, AA and Virgin, I think there are about 10 round trips between Logan and London per day during the high season, mostly using A340s, 747-400s and 777s. Lufthansa also has two flights from KBOS to Frankfurt and one to Munich per day during the high season, usually using A340-600s and 747-400s, both very large aircraft. This might make it worthwhile for them to consolidate the Frankfurt flights and add capacity on the route to their growing Munich hub when they get their A380s.
