Bikes Meet Art at Ferris Wheels
Bikes meet art at Ferris Wheels as part of First Thursdays Jamaica Plain. This month the shop hosts two artists, a local screen printer and photographer.
Evan Webster owns Evan Webster Ink in Brookline: a full service print shop specializing in hand screen printing on textiles. His work is online at www.evanwebsterink.com.
Andrew Peterson, photographer, says, "After using a bike to commute in and around Boston, I developed an acute awareness of other bikes. This series represents . . . my study on what gives these bikes their distinctive personalities."
The art opening is free and open to the public from 6-8pm. Refreshments will be served. Ferris Wheels Bike Shop is located at 66 South Street, Jamaica Plain. For more information, call 617-524-BIKE.
