Break-in at the Victory Gardens

Mike Mennonno surveys the damage after some partiers decided the entire rest of the Fens was just too boring and so decided to use the Victory Gardens for some after-hours action early Saturday.

Love walking through there on a nice sunny day. It peaceful and pretty, and the scents change with every few steps. An old pal of mine used to wear a tee shirt, light gray with big black block letters on the front; it said "MEAN PEOPLE SUCK". Here's hopin' the idiots leave all you folks alone. (Kinda too bad you had to give back the bench though. Oh well, at least you did the right thing.) And kudos for taking care of your neighbor's gate, that was a way cool thing to do.
