Caritas Christi hospitals will stay open for at least three more years

The Globe reports the state Attorney General's office has signed off on the Archdiocese of Boston's planned sale of the six-hospital chain to a private equity firm with conditions - such as all the hospitals, including St. Elizabeth's in Brighton and Carney in Dorchester, stay open for at least three more years.

Hmm...
If they're no longer owned by a religious organization, does that mean they have to start abiding by mainstream ethical healthcare practices and the state nondiscrimination laws?
(Why have religious organizations been allowed to flout ethics codes and laws that the rest of us have to abide by? WTF?)

Just because they aren't owned by a religious organization does not mean that they aren't still a catholic establishment, because they are.
