Perhaps because other TV stations do a little more fact-checking before putting their reports on the air (or the web)?

these silly "exclusive story" promos are just the media's way of saying "Nay, nay, nay, nay - we're bigger than you because we broke this first".

Not only did it happen at the Puerto Rican Festival, but it was right after Sherrod said they should kill all of the whities.
