Channel 25, local produce wholesaler among possible losers in Uno bankruptcy

Pizzeria Uno's Uno Chicago Bar and Grill that Used to Just Sell Pizza bankruptcy filing shows the West Roxbury-based chain of not-pizza places owes WFXT $64,000 and Katsiroubas Bros. $54,000. The filing, in New York bankruptcy court also shows the company owes NStar $112,000 and National Grid $95,000.
Although the Chapter 11 filing means the company remains open for business, it is closing outlets in some farflung locations such as Fairhaven and New Hampshire.

Why is a Chicago-themed (and originated?) pizza chain, headquartered in West Roxbury, filing for bankruptcy in New York?
Is it a final shot in the Chicago/NewEngland/NewYawk pizza debate? As in, it can be present in all three and still suck?
Partial answer
A year or two ago, some New York investment firm bought the company.
How it got moved from Chicago (home of the guy who came home from Italy after the war, deep dish, opened Pizzeria Due, etc., etc.,) to a nondescript building on the way to Millennium Park (took forever for the kidlet to grasp the concept that there was no restaurant there), is another issue.

Short answer: Boston fella liked it, saw opportunity, bought the rights to franchise it, eventually sold it to New Yawkers.
I work at Uno's and Maggard
I work at Uno's and Maggard has his facts straight. Basically, after Uno in Chicago, they opened their next several stores in Boston (Boylston, Kenmore, Fannueil, Huntington, etc). Weirdly enough, there are very few Uno's in the Chicago metropolitan area. They have the most stores in MA.
