Chicken and waffles, roaming the city 24 hours a day

At least, that's what's promised by Fillbelly's. Has anybody seen this food truck yet? Their Twitter feed is a bit barren. They claim Roslindale and Hyde Park as part of their route.

There's been a chicken-and-waffle-shaped void in my soul since Bob the Chef's went away....if these guys can fill it, I'll beat a path to their parking spot. It sounds like it would be a bit of a challenge to consume said c&w off a paper plate from a food truck, but damn, I'll try!

Hen House in Dorchester is great!

The concept and the marketing seemed cool, until I actually went in and read the menu, then promptly walked out and went to Victoria's. It's really poor planning when a place has a number of non-meat items, yet only has them listed on the menu in combinations that only include meat. Want just waffles? Nope, sorry, have to have chicken with them.

(TGI Friday's similarly sucks, because they have lots of lovely veggie items but will still charge you for the dead animal parts you asked them to leave off. Why not have an option to add the flesh for a couple bucks like most places? Then everyone's happy.)

It lives off Norfolk St in Dorchester. I see it there unattended most weeks.

What a weird combination.

Sounds awesome.

what kind of music a roaming "chicken and waffles" truck would play to attract customers?

But the Chicken Dance would work - at least until somebody who lives on a hill in Roslindale hears them for 30 minutes playing the damn thing over and over as it slowly wends its way up the streets and when the truck finally gets up to his street he attacks the truck with a large rock.

Just sayin'.
