I wouldn't show up for a debate against Mac D. either. Not after his pathetic performance in that televised mini debate last Sunday. After Mac stopped him from his verbal bait & switch attempt to take credit for voting both for & against health care reform, Lynch morphed into Barry Fitzgerald imitating The Church Lady repeating Shame on You, Shame on You as Mac delivered cogent closing remarks stating where he stood & how lousy Lynch's politically motivated votes on war and healthcare really were.

You can have your say about how Stephen Lynch's bad votes hurt our community here: http://www.stephenlynchsbadvotes.com

Stuff can be spin so much either way on these things. I will now vote for Lynch because of this.

about Lynch's voting record. These are complaints MA9 residents have about Stephen Lynch's voting records and of course anybody else who chooses to chime in. You still get to decide on your own whether you agree with the complaint or not.

If they are not complaints, why have a link to support his campaign on an anti-lynch website? There are other candidates aren't there? This site seems to push people to one person.

These are not complaints Mac D'Alessandro has about Lynch's voting record, these are complaints MA9 residents have about Stephen Lynch's voting record. MA9 residents - you know the people who vote for a Congressman who will represent their interests.

If they aren't his views or complaints, why put a link up to his website? Unless he gave permission I wouldn't do that.

Nothing against Chicago but I think we need people from the area this time around. Patrick (a RINO in my opinion) is another guy who doesn't know the landscape of this state. Poorer towns are getting poorer but the rich towns are doing just fine.

Rino = Republican In Name Only? Patrick is a Dem. Perhaps you meant DINO? Either Way, if your preference is for democratic positions on the issues, it's more likely Mac is your guy then Stephen Lynch.

D'Alessandro is a graduate of Rutgers University, and received his law degree from Boston College Law School. He worked for the New England SEIU for nine years. A long-time Massachusetts resident, Mac is married to Jennie Mulqueen, an early childhood arts educator, and is the father of five-year-old Sophie and three-year-old Atticus. They reside in Milton.

In hos words:

" I am a progressive Democrat, and I'm running for Congress because I believe that the working families in our communities deserve a Congressman who will fight for them and who will actually be a leader on key issues that matter to them - from reforming our health care system (and building on the recently-passed reforms) to holding Wall Street accountable to investing in job creation for our communities to protecting our civil rights and ensuring equal protection under the law.

"Like most families throughout the district and across Massachusetts, my wife and I sit at our kitchen table on a regular basis, going over our bills and the family budget, paying for today while trying to save for tomorrow. We see too often that the well-being of Fortune 500 companies are put in front of the good fortune of working families like ours. That is why I'm running. The 9th district deserves more than just another representative; the district deserves someone who will champion our Democratic ideals in the U.S. House of Representatives as we fight to balance the playing field for working families like ours."

Please note that Keith Lepor was not invited by the organizers of this debate. We only got a facebook message from our opponent.
