Forget Lady Gaga: Why didn't MIT get OutKast?
By adamg on Wed, 06/30/2010 - 7:20pm
Ooh, so she posed for a Polaroid to help shill for what's left of the company and MIT's giant collection of Polaroidiana. Whup.
Has she ever urged her listeners to shake it, shake it like a Polaroid picture?
Didn't think so.

It should have been "shake it
It should have been "shake it as if it were a Polaroid picture".
Shake your shake Shake
--Lady Gage: Shake your Kitty
Come now, Adam. There's no classic lyric, no persistent meme, that she hasn't appropriated.
Can't help but think her name should be pronounced
Lady Kaka
Oh my, that is so clever. I
Oh my, that is so clever. I don't think anybody's ever said that before.
Shaking is not Polaroid approved
I may be wrong, but I thought Polaroid frowns on shaking as unnecessary. Perhaps they wouldn't want to be associated with an artist spreading such myths as he recommends shaking in the manner one would a photograph from a Polaroid brand instant camera.
Blow on it
That's another Myth of Polaroid: blowing on it to make it work faster. It only works when it is really cold outside (leave it to a bunch of MIT students with a big box of film to figure that one out!).
You can also "draw" on polaroid film while it is still developing.
