Jamaica Plain Patch reports nobody was hurt when the wind toppled the bug-gnawed tree onto the Jamaicaway yesterday, smashing one windshield and hitting another vehicle.
I am impressed that they noted the type of tree. Oak is not a host for Asian longhorned beetle, so no worries that it was *those* kind of grubs. Also, of course, glad no one was hurt when the tree fell.
