Hooded men take advantage of West Roxbury's reluctance to accept it's not 1957 anymore

Wicked Local West Roxbury reports two West Roxbury houses were robbed early Sunday, one by men wearing hoods. In both cases, the rear doors were probably unlocked, something District E-5 has been warning West Roxbury residents about for years.

There was also an armed robbery of a corner store in WR tonight. Two men, one of whom had a gun, fled towards Dedham.

This is creepy. I left my backdoor not only unlocked, but open last night! I always let my dogs out before bed and the old door doesn't just swing shut. I usually lock it, but i guess last night i was just lazy.

This surprises me a liitle, not because it is WR, but because that neighbor is full of cops and firefighters. Break into the wrong house at night and you could find yourself on the receiving end of a bullet.
