It's always Labor Day weekend on Storrow Drive

The driver of an overloaded tractor-trailer apparently didn't think all those warning signs were for him, no sir, at least until the top of his truck met the bottom of the BU Bridge on Storrow Drive in Allston around lunchtime today. And then, somebody in a car rear-ended another car in the resulting pileup.

Neal - I keep my feed private for various reasons (both work and personal), but was able to get Adam the info through Twitter. :)

I saw this truck stopped on Storrow just before the BU bridge, around noon, in one of those little pull-off areas. I guess he decided to go for it. Wow. It was a big truck too, quite clearly it was never getting under the bridge.
