Just in time for rush hour: Red Line a mess

Signal problems between Harvard and Alewife are making life, um, interesting, for Red Line riders this afternoon.

interesting is one way to put it. At 6:15, the problem persisted in both directions. I stood in Central Square and trains in both directions were in the station but not moving.

Nice thing about living in Quincy...

I can take the commuter rail when the red line is acting up. There are a couple lines that pass through town, so I didn't have to wait long at South Station for a Quincy-bound train.
