Allston IHOP Rotary
The Nonatum / North Beacon / Soldiers Field Road rotary near the IHOP in Allston is flooded and closed eastbound and southbound. Looks like water levels are still rising on the northbound and westbound side as it geysers up out of the street. Water level reached the door trim of sedans pushing through.
Hill or river?
Although if it's geysering out of the street, maybe it's storm sewers!
The storm sewers there are
The storm sewers there are always bad. It seems like every major storm, the manhole cover coming down the Parson St. hill comes off, and cars drive into the flood-covered hole.
Parsons/Birmingham Pkwy
Yesterday there was a broken water main at the end of Parsons, so that might be the geysey effect. Either
way, traffic around that area, including backstreets leading to and from Oak Square suck, avoid if possible!

Yes, you are correct. The "geyser" was at the end of parsons, regardless of the cause it certainly does not help the situation. The whole street was closed in front of the ice rink eastbound and traffic was blocked from entering from Watertown.
Broadway in Wakefield between Foundry Street and
North Ave (by Crystal Lake) was mostly under water earlier this morning. Many folks use this street to bypass the lights at Albion Street and North Ave, so traffic was backing up a bit.
