Major heist at South End community garden

The Eight Streets Neighborhood Association reports somebody went to considerable trouble to steal the snow blower from the Berkeley Community Garden on East Berkeley Street sometime late Friday or early Saturday:

While there has been scattered vandalism in the garden over the summer, this seems to have been a well orchestrated event. They pried the handle and lock mechanism right off of the door and stole just the snow blower. Not being a smash-and-grab item, they may have had a vehicle waiting to haul the snow blower away.
