Making a little splash in Belmont

Foodie Mommy recommends Beaver Brook Reservation on Trapelo Road in Belmont (just over the line from Waltham) for the splashy toddler set: It has this large field of sprinklerized boulders that are just right for cooling off in on a hot day.

I just got back from there; WarriorBabyGirl wore herself out and is now napping.

Note: on weekends, it's rather crowded (people were waiting in line for the Waverly Oaks parking lot); weekdays are much less hectic, for those who have time off.
