Allen was ordered held without bail at his arraignment today on charges of murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, and unlawfully carrying a loaded firearm at Roxbury District Court, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

In a statement, the DA's office says both men were in apartments at 20 Homestead St. when a fight broke out inside a hallway around 4:30 p.m. "Neither Williams nor Allen was involved in that altercation."

The fight spilled into the street and Allen, Williams and a third man got caught up, the DA's office says. Williams pulled a knife, but Allen pulled out a gun and fatally shot Williams in the stomach, according to the statement.

This family back in FL is heart broken, to see one of theirs involved in such a horrific murder. Remember this was a young man, who could have helped anyone of you all, yet you scoff at the situation at hand. This is a young man who had family, and loved ones, now they are burying him at this very minute. No matter what transpired, he was still human; and a child of God.

He took away the best friend I ever had! He didn't deserve to die like that!
