A matter of degrees

The temperature reading outside the Hyde Park Savings Bank on Centre Street in West Roxbury at 2 p.m. Across Centre street, the Co-Operative Bank reported a much more reasonable 101 degrees. Good thing I was driving on that side of the street.

So hot that 8 countries in Africa and Asia set all-time high temperature records and the Tea Party postponed their Las Vegas convention link.

maybe they are right about global warming. hehe. Make sure that everyone gets plenty of water!!!! 104 is nasty... Where did the spring go? Did we even have one? It seems like it went from winter to summer. Not that many 50 degree days...

If I was a fireman, I would be good friends with the firehose on days like this. I am not sure if the hose is as hard to control as movies portray though.
