An ode to the pretty girls of the Green Line

John Hilliard of Wicked Local Brookline gives the Masterpiece Theatre version of a Craigslist men-seeking-women ad.

Ed caution: Those of you who lived through the '70s who have no wish for flashbacks are cautioned that Hilliard is sporting some serious sideburns to go with his Davey Jones hair.

the wickedlocal.com newspapers might be resource-starved to the point that they just plain can't cover the news even in their small towns, but that doesn't mean that they should use ridiculous crap for filler.

One evening I was on the D Inbound from way out near Riverside. It started out empty, but people were getting on at every stop, and for some bizarre reason, most all of these people were very attractive women, early-20s to early-30s. So, until Fenway, it was me and a trainload of attractive women, with no competition present. I took advantage of the situation to huddle up in my seat and immerse myself in a document.

Pro Tip: If you go for petite, dark-haired, and smart-looking, try the Newton and Brookline stretch. If, on the other hand, you prefer something a little more blonde and airheady, the BU stretch might be more to your liking.

But, seriously, don't anyone misconstrue this as favor for the Green Line. The T is broken, regardless of whether hotties may sometimes be found there.
