Our police may have an ice-cream truck, but police in the other Boston have a John Deere tractor

The Boston Standard reports on the John Deere 6630 tractor, outfitted with police insignia and a blue light on the top, now being used by police in the original Boston.
UPDATE: While BPD may not have tractors to go after hay thieves, William Ricker alerts us that Boston EMS does have some John Deere ATVs.

Just wanted to say-
-thanks. For postings like this. Reading this and following the link has led to twenty minutes of online research into our namesake English town and some of the things found have been fascinating. Like the story of the emigrants from Boston town who went to the Netherlands and later ended up on the Mayflower bound for New England...excellent. Thanks again.
