Police: Guy pissing on Orange Line platform turns out to be unregistered sex offender
MBTA Transit Police report arresting a convicted sex offender whom they say was urinating in the middle of an Orange Line platform at Downtown Crossing yesterday afternoon.
Police say a woman "in an excited and shocked state" went up to two officers looking for fare evaders around 4:45 p.m. to alert them that a guy was urinating on the northbound platform and that she had gotten a look at his penis.
According to a police report, the officers got to him in mid-stream and told him to stop urinating, which he did. He was then arrested on a charge of indecent exposure. During booking, police say, they discovered that William Gibbons, 48, had an outstanding warrant for failing to register as a sex offender. According to the Sex Offender Registry Board, Gibbon was convicted in 1994 for indecent assault and battery on a child under 14.
Innocent, etc.

48?
wow, riding the T can really 'age' you!
48?
Maybe he wheedled on the 3rd rail too many times.
He STOPPED Urinating In Mid Stream?
What! He stopped urinating in mid stream. I can't do that...give him credit. As for pissing on the third rail, that was the subject of a "Mythbusters" show a few years ago. Wouldn't it have been funny if THAT was the experiment that President Obama had asked therm to repeat?
And . . .
So . . . what happens if you urinate on the third rail?
In fairness to the Mythbusters
the purpose of their experiment was only to determine if the electric shock created from urinating on the third rail was strong enough to stop your heart from beating. They didn't even consider whether the cumulative effect of many smaller shocks would cause premature aging.
Can't quite see what she was
Can't quite see what she was so excited about. Guy's not exactly a looker. Must've been packing.
Heh
"she had gotten a look at his penis" makes it sound like she was interested.
I wish they'd just pass a law
I wish they'd just pass a law against public urination already, since indecent exposure and lewd and lascivious behavior are much more serious crimes, but they're the only thing they can charge people with.
