For second day in a row, somebody arrested in South Boston for breaking into cars

Boston Police report arresting a Dorchester man on charges he broke into cars along Congress Street in search of electronics.

Police say they found Tony C. Goforth, 48, shortly before 2 a.m. with a knapsack full of "electronic items including cameras, cell phones, I-Pods and GPS systems."

He was charged with breaking and entering motor vehicles, receiving stolen property and possession of burglarious tools. Police say he was also charged of possession of illegal prescription medicine.

Innocent, etc.

Make that 3 because on Wednesday we watched from our office as teen(presumably) was breaking into cars in the big parking lot on Congress and Boston Wharf Road. (yes we called the cops) They chased him from on end of the lot to the other before they took him down. Like 7 marked cars a couple of unmarked detective cars, paddy wagon and a statie! quite the scene

Actually this was the one we witnessed only it was 2pm not 2am as the police report states!
