Signals on the Orange Line are green with envy this morning

No way are they going to let some trolley line upstage them, nuh uh! That seems as good a reason as any to explain why Orange Line signals - which the T spent several years repairing - are malfunctioning at Wellington this morning, causing all sorts of issues for riders.

I liked someone's idea of reporting only when the T is *not* broken.

They almost pulled it off on Sunday: Red Line was arriving just as I got to the gates, car was reasonably clean, not overly crowded, no crazy people or thugs making themselves known, sunny over the Longfellow, got to destination in a timely manner without incident... just like every T ride should be, but rarely is. Almost pulled it off, EXCEPT the car was filled with several different kinds of "body odor alert" advertisements. Oddly enough, no one seemed to find it amusing.

T riders don't avoid eye contact because they are antisocial; rather, the myriad abuses and indignities of the MBTA have just made T riders dead inside.

I avoid the T as much as possible, and now I'm boycotting Gillette and anything branded with their name.
