Back in '05 I got Pat's Playoffs tickets. I used 3 browsers and was calling on 2 phones. I cannot imagine how hard it today!
My advice is gather up all the cell phones you can and forget the Internet. I'm fairly certain I could handle 2 computers w/ 5 browsers each and 2 phones at the same time..... I have no money but my services are for rent. ;)

My advice: Commandeer a unit of M1A1 Abrams tanks. Park them outside every Ace Ticket outlet within state lines, reserving one vehicle for a mission to StubHub's headquarters in San Francisco. Wait until the offices end today's business day and the staff clears out. Load one (1) 105 mm high-explosive round. Fire. Repeat once, then load a 105 mm white phosphorous round and fire to destroy any remaining evidence. On Saturday morning, use one (1) cell phone to call in for tickets. With the "ticket agencies" in embers, it should take less time to get a ticket than it would to order a pizza.

Starting at 10 a.m. Gluttons for punishment know they can set their browsers to the page and, if they're lucky, get put into the "virtual waiting room," where people will be picked at random, rather than the order they entered the space, for the privilege of using their kids' college funds to buy tickets.

Ahhhh. My friend saw the schedule and lamented that Saturday-day games are pretty much gone in favor of the 'more ad revenue' night games. Although I do see a lot of TBDs for Saturdays, it would be a bummer to have so few weekend day games... And don't get him started about the home opener being a) night game b) sunday and c) Easter sunday

How many people are going to spend a several hours in the Virtual Waiting Room and then leave because you have a life. And then return to see that you are being asked to select your tickets but the session is expired!! Ugh, 2 years in a row!!
