No more MInuteman Library Network?
So is this the end of Minuteman, NOBLE, and the other regional networks? What does this change mean for inter-library loan, a Minuteman service I use frequently?
i did a little digging on this...
... and had my sister the librarian do some more. this would be the end of the regional areas like minuteman. but it als appears as though ILL will remain one of the top priorities of the new statewide system. it might mean a change in *how* you request your ILL, and how long it taked to get, but at the end of the day you should be able to get a book from any library in the new system.
i would assume, however, that this is going to start off *really* rocky.
