On March 5th, 2010, plaintiff, upon boarding an MBTA vehicle, was handed a hardened confectionery, composed of (among other substances) sucrose and corn syrup, by an MBTA employee. Since said employee was distributing these stick-mounted devices to all who entered the vehicle he was operating, plaintiff assumed it was official MBTA policy to consume said device. As a result of said consumption, plaintiff developed pain in the dentifrice, with concurrent skin eruptions, bowel disturbances, and an unfortunately green pallor to the tongue, which, while temporary in nature, did cause plaintiff to NOT be hired during the job interview to which plaintiff was headed during the time of the incident in question. Therefore, plaintiff seeks recovery - for physical trauma, emotional distress, lost wages, and mental anguish - in the sum of $10,000,000.

... "I'm Bobby. I'm almost 50 years old and I refuse to be miserable," he said to passengers behind me: 'You should smile when you greet the people.' They call me Mr. Wonderful. But Bobby will suffice." ...
