The Globe reports that the Greater Boston Tea Party is claiming 1,500 "official" members.

. . . but basically it is just a GOP front and wholly not serious about changing anything. And when that DC created "populist" Sara Palin showed up as one of their "leaders" I knew the fix was in. The Tea Party rank and file contain some serious minded and sincere people but basically it has been hijacked by DC spin artists and they have largely allowed themselves to be used.
