Three sure signs of spring

The Singing Spare Change Guy (not the Grating Spare Change Guy) is back; he was outside DeLuca's on Newbury Street today.
The birds inside the Forest Hills T station were singing up a storm.
The "seasonal special" on sandwiches at the new bagel place in Quincy Market is now $6.96, compared to the $4.94 "seasonal special" for the same exact sandwiches two weeks ago.

And Louie
The tricycle guy - but he's been out for weeks proving the groundhog and the quahog wrong!
Go Louie Go
Ha I'm glad you mentioned Louie - I thought I heard his chant mixed in with the wind last week but couldn't be positive, but just the thought reminded me of summer. And sure enough - he appeared on Saturday to part the crowd on Newbury St. Or should I say Newbury sidewalk.
BTW I lived here a while before figuring out that he was actually repeating a word, not just being a human siren.
grating spare change guy?
Is that the guy in JP who hangs out between Harvest and Fiore's and croaks/screams "SPARE CHAAAANGE, SPARE CHAAAANGE, SPARE CHAAANGE" at everyone that looks like they're going to pass by him?
Glasses?
Sounds like him, but I usually see him downtown. This guy, that is.
