Where is Sen. Jack Hart, where is Bill Linehan, why aren't they standing up? Anytime there is a crisis you can literally find them hiding.... do they think people are stupid?

He was there in support of the kids and to keep the PAL the way it is. See the South Boston Online this week - he wrote an editorial about this issue.

The focus should be on the Menino administration. They put politics before the kids and caused this mess. I'm glad Hart called them to the carpet.

I commend Hart on being clear on where he stands on this issue. I heard he was away with his family this past weekend, and couldn't make the first rally. Get off his back. He called Menino out and wrote an editorial in the paper.

Linehan, on the other hand, is waffling and talking around the issue. Menino calls him and tells him what to do. "Tell them it will stay open. City of Boston. Kids." Linehan doesn't get it. It stays open and stays the way it is - no non-profit game. GET WITH THE PROGRAM, GET BEHIND THE KIDS, AND GET WITH THE NEIGHBORHOOD.

Spiderman...That's what you'll get if McGonagle is Elected. Another "Yes Man" for the Mayor!

Both Hart & Linehan are in the picture above standing behind the kids. So apparently they were at the rally. Judging from your comments, it's not suprising people might think you're stupid.

I was one of the kids at the rally. Jack Hart and Bill Linehan came late (about a half hour after the start). They got their Mugs on the news, had a "private" conversation with eacth other, and left. They didn't even talk to the kids or hold a sign. Two phonies if you ask me.

Jack Hart is out in front on this issue, and taking the right position. He will have our back in this fight against City Hall.

Let's not forget the hardwork the kids have put in though. McGuire and Sweeney rallyed the kids, made the signs, made the phonecalls, and made this happen. Also great to see the candidates for state rep step up. All the good things I heard about McGee are true.

Keep up the fight!

Linehan has said it will stay open but won't say that he is for the City continuing to support the Walsh Center. It is obvious by now that it pained Linehan to be there and he only was because he was trying to save face but still not piss off the big guy.

Nick Collins wasn't there either which I don't understand since he is running for this State Rep seat. Even though Brian Wallace isn't running again it wouldn't of killed him to stop by but then again I know that Sully's is open for the season at Castle Island.

McGonagle must be scared also because the Machine will pull all of his building trade Union endorsements if he tries to go against the City on this one. Mark, time to make a decision...you are either for South Boston or for the Machine. Let us know but I think most already know the real answer.

McGee was there but he attends more events then Menino. At least he helped make signs and has been putting in effort outside the normal show your face for vote routine.

Even Patrick Brennan took time off his private sector job to come down to the rally. He owes nothing to anyone and is hardly a Southie resident but he was there because it was best for the kids.

Mcgee is clueless , I do not even think there is one person from Southie left on his campaign besides Adams. This is about someone from South Boston reperesenting the people of south boston. This is not about Mike Mcgee
