Two charged with Wednesday-morning burglary on Mission Hill

Boston Police report officers' suspicions were aroused when they spotted two guys walking around Tremont and Parker streets with large bags filled with electronics and jewelery around 1:15 p.m. yesterday.

Police say the officers were already on alert because of a series of recent apartment and car break-ins on Mission Hill. And they did not buy the explanation from one that he'd just purchased his goody bag from somebody or the explanation from the other that a friend had decided to unload a large bag of electronics on him - especially after serial numbers or other identifying material let them track down Mission Hill residents who told them that, yes, their apartment had been broken into that morning and that they were missing two laptop computers, a television monitor and several pieces of jewelry.

Ramon Perez, 42, Jose Rodriguez, 34, were both charged with receiving stolen property and breaking an entering a residence in the daytime.

Innocent, etc.
