Like the dining room table, a reporter for some conservative Web site learns Barney Frank doesn't think much of gotcha attempts:
Also: Frank reveals the gay agenda.
As pompous and full of himself as he can be many times, I have to say that Barney Frank is my favorite gay action figure. I wish I lived in his district so I could vote for him.
Rep. Barney Frank On The “Radical Homosexual Agenda” video
His best since the "talking to a dining room table" smackdown. The pragmatic world needs more Barney, love his opening sarcastic shock.
My god, how many idiots get to trawl the house floor daily and pepper legislators with nonsense like this? Making smart ass replies must be all our congressmen and women can do to keep from going insane.
The saddest part is that some of the idiots who are trawling the floor work there. It really is refreshing when you can encounter a smart, well-spoken and fast-on his/her feet politician of either party. Too often you get some sort of Jan Brewer experience where they can only sputter out the catch-phrases and promise to "get back to you on that issue" or worst of all freeze up and just stare blankly and then run away.
Electing politicians you would want to have a beer with sounds good, but the results have been less than appealing (maybe we should ask what kind of beer they would order first >end elitist beer snob<). Maybe we should want our politicians to be someone with whom you can have a decent conversation. (Personally, I don't believe that Obama or either Clinton fall into that category, but I've never had a conversation with them, so whadda I know.)
oh my god. I went to college with that reporter... Glad he's asking the important questions.
Rep. Frank's smackdown reminded me of my mother getting canvassed by some dimwit Schlafflyite in the 1970s ...
"ERA would mean unisex toilets? You mean ... I need to put ANOTHER TOILET IN MY MOBILE HOME so I don't share it with my husband and son???"
CNS news and why does their logo show Florida as the center of the universe??
