West Roxbury to get Mexican food

Boston Restaurant Talk reports somebody's gotten a business license to open North of the Border Mexican Grill at 5272 Washington St. - where Cristelle used to be until it moved a couple doors down a couple years ago. It's not a very big space - which is why Cristelle moved.

I'm mostly gonna stick to Romano's and Yucatan Tacos, but if they do a good job on the more complicated stuff, it might take my business away from Acapulco.

I don't think it has changed in any significant way over the past 20 years. They have a full bar now, so we are no longer restricted to beer or sangria. I really like their enchiladas, and the tacos de carne asada, along with the various nacho and queso asada options. Great seviche, too, and if you go on a Friday or Saturday night, you get the mariachi band.

Margaritas, seviche, enchiladas, and live entertainment. How can you go wrong?
