Menino’s spokeswoman Dot Joyce, initially said yesterday that the city has “no plans at this point” to evacuate the Occupy Boston encampment. Looks like that changed fast.

Mayor Menino was praised
Mayor Menino was praised widely for this lie and his ability to evict without the press seeing any violence. The very press that praised him was made to stand in a far corner of Dewey Sq, away from the arrests, their view blocked by a row of policemen.
