Be on the lookout for some expensive guitars

Stephanie Clarkson reports Starlab, the practice space and recording studio in Union Square, was broken into over the weekend:
Both of Stephen Konrads's guitars were stolen (a fireglo Rickenbacker 360 and a brown Fender Telecaster '69 Thinline with a pearl pickguard) along with both of Wayne's basses (a sunburst Fender Jazz Bass with pick-up covers and a natural finish Rickenbacker 4003). Also Chris Duggan's black Gibson Les Paul and a Mac Pro with a cinema display were stolen.

report? repost
it's good to see that word is spreading about this misdeed, but i'd hardly call copying and pasting a facebook status update meant to alert the commmunity "reporting". but it's still good that people are talking about it.
What do you think newspapers
What do you think newspapers do with press releases?
actual alleged newspapers even run thinly-veiled advertorials

Don't they teach conflict of interest in law school?
Even on supposed real articles, newspapers can sound like a press release, such as in, "Masterwork Painting and Restoration Company is certified in working with lead paints and taking serious precaution to ensure the safety of high traffic of people coming in contact with the church."

That's the newspaper of Cambridge, MA, home of Harvard University. They really need to hire more staff. Three bright high school students could do wonders.
