Ed. note: Four?!? Here in Roslindale, we have one coffeehouse for the entire neighborhood, but we like it.

There's a perfect space open in JP's Hyde Square next to the new Whole Foods and another across the street. Coffeehouse owners, dreamers, entrepreneurs, collectives, come on down and check it out! The neighborhood wants you and needs you!

There were 2 awesome coffee shops in Hyde Square, both had to move on. Well, the one next to the Hi-Lo because the rent was sky freaking high (same for Bella Luna and Milky Way), and the other shop I am not sure why they closed up but that was a loss, they had awesome espresso.

I'm sure JP will see some new coffee houses come into that n'hood now that the economy seems to be growing again. Its ripe for that kind of business and someone will realize it soon and take advantage. Until then, hop on the orange line and come up to the South End... we have a bevy of choices.
