Boston shelves energy-efficiency program because of privacy concerns

Channel 4 reports the city wanted to use thermal imaging cameras to scan homes across the city to show residents how they could save money on heating, but gave up the idea after the ACLU of Massachusetts complained the cameras would have been too revealing of what those residents were actually doing inside their houses.
