Saturday 4/23 Huntington ave traffic at a standstill near the MFA. Perhaps they need to rethink whether making Museum Rd have traffic in both directions was really a good idea.

So, based on my sources, there could be more traffic as a result of making Museum Road two-way, since people leaving the Museum parking garage can now turn right toward Huntington, but, I agree, it's probably has a nominal effect on traffic.
Most-likely, it was that the Chihuly exhibit is so overwhelmingly popular that the Museum was crowded. And, even though it was a Saturday, last week was vacation week for a lot of schools, so you probably had runover from that.
